Established in the early 1800s, Forest Lawn Cemetery in Laurens, South Carolina is located beside Zaxby's, across the street from Flower's Bakery. The grounds consist of rolling hills, surrounding wooded areas, a fountain, benches, and numerous trees include magnolias, dogwoods, and pines. Revolutionary soldiers are interred in one area.
We put families first in all we do. Here are some of their stories.
So helpful trying to find my infant brother's grave. He passed in 1953 and the family has been looking for over 25 years; we didn't know which cemetery. They met us at the grave and showed us exactly where he was. Now we can get a headstone for him. Can't thank them enough.

I went to Mount Royal to visit my Aunts grave. After trying to find it for 20 minutes Frank helped me. I have difficulty walking so not only did he locate the grave for me he took me there himself. Thank you Frank and Mount Royal for being so kind and helpful.

Our family is grateful for the attention that Vista funeral home’s staff gave us. We came in to the office and were attended to immediately. Ronald is very knowledgeable and helped us get through the stress of making preparations for our father’s passing. His professionalism and charismatic disposition helped for this process to be a pleasant one.

I couldn't be happier with the service and cremation package at Davis Seawinds. I am so happy that I have peace of mind now and that my family won't have to deal with these arrangements. Jim was very nice and explained everything in detail.

Called to get some pricing and the lady that helped me was super patient and understanding. The prices beat all the other cemeteries and they were so kind to answer all my questions. Will definitely recommend to family and friends!

My parents had a cremation policy purchased in another state, and not accepted by our local funeral service. Northridge gladly accepted it, and when we recently needed to use it they provided a service far superior than I had expected. From the minute I called them and through the entire process they stayed in touch and walked us through what had to be done.

Frequently asked questions
You may have questions. We have answers.
If you have any questions not listed here, we invite you to reach out and we will answer as soon as possible.
What should I do first after a loved one passes away?
After the death of a loved one, notify immediate family, close friends, employer (if applicable), and any relevant service providers such as banks, insurance companies, and the post office.
What is the difference between a funeral and a memorial service?
A funeral includes the body of the deceased, while a memorial service does not.
What does the cremation process entail?
Cremation involves placing the body in a special furnace and exposing it to high temperatures until it is reduced to ashes. The remains are then processed to remove any metal and placed in an urn.
What are my payment options?
We offer payment plans, burial, life and final expense insurance, and accept credit cards and checks.
Why do I need to plan a funeral service for my loved one?
A funeral honors your loved one’s life, provides comfort, and helps with healing by celebrating their journey and impact.
