Did you know that many Memorial Planning cemeteries and funeral homes host monthly events? These occasions bring families together, creating a place where reflection and grief are embraced, and you can find a true sense of community.
Here are the three common types of events you can attend:
Remembrance – Beyond the funeral, everyone needs time to pause and honor memories. Remembrance events allow you to pay tribute to your person in the days and years to come. Examples may include butterfly releases, candle lighting, or grief support gatherings.
Seasonal – These events are reminders to nurture what’s important, whether it’s cultural rituals, resting places, or community. These can range from holidays and cemetery cleanups and to light-hearted school supply drives and historical highlights.
Educational – Memorial Planning teams host seminars to answer questions about deathcare services and tributes. These sessions are helpful because they allow families to take initiative and learn about memorial options before a difficult time of need. Attend a seminar near you to see how we can serve you and your family.
We hope to see you at a local event! For specific dates and event activities, please call your nearest Memorial Planning location or your Family Service Counselor.
